This fully funded 2 year apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Leeds College of Building and follows the BTEC National Diploma in Building Services Engineering. You will be primarily based in our office and attend college on a day-release basis, gaining valuable hands-on experience through real project work and regular site visits. This apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation for a career in building services, offering clear progression routes into higher-level qualifications and professional registration. We are seeking a talented BIM Engineer to help deliver high-quality, coordinated building services models. You’ll work closely with other disciplines, contribute to design strategies, and ensure our BIM processes meet industry standards and client needs. Responsibilities include developing and managing BIM models, coordinating multidisciplinary design information, producing clash detection reports, and maintaining accurate project data. You’ll also support innovation in digital workflows and mentor junior staff in BIM best practice.

We’re looking for a Sustainability Engineer to support the delivery of low-carbon, energy-efficient solutions across a range of building services projects. You’ll work closely with design teams to integrate sustainable strategies, carry out energy modelling and carbon assessments, and help meet targets such as net zero, BREEAM, and WELL. The role involves preparing technical reports, staying up to date with industry standards, and liaising with clients and project teams. You’ll also contribute to innovation and provide guidance to colleagues, promoting best practice in environmental and sustainable design.

We’re seeking a Revit Technician to support the delivery of building services projects within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll collaborate with engineers to produce coordinated drawings, amend designs using Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and ensure outputs meet project deadlines. Responsibilities include creating and modifying MEP families, legends, schedules, and templates, while maintaining compliance with current design standards and BIM protocols. You’ll also liaise with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels, and offer guidance to junior staff and apprentices to support the smooth delivery of high-quality design work.

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver coordinated building services design alongside multidisciplinary teams. You’ll contribute to setting design strategy, supervise junior staff, and review documentation to ensure high standards are maintained. The role involves attending meetings, liaising with clients and contractors, and leading small project teams. You’ll undertake feasibility studies, site inspections, surveys, and prepare load calculations and utility applications. You’ll produce detailed designs, review technical submissions, and ensure compliance with industry design guides, British Standards, and Building Regulations across all project stages.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of coordinated building services designs. You will work alongside colleagues from other disciplines, help define design strategies, and maintain current knowledge of regulations and standards. Responsibilities include detailed electrical design, load calculations, utility applications, site inspections, and reviewing subcontractor submissions. You will mentor junior staff and apprentices, ensuring clear guidance is provided. The role involves attending meetings, liaising with clients and professionals, and occasionally leading small multidisciplinary teams across a range of projects.
