Mechanical Design Engineer - All Levels

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver coordinated building services design alongside multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll contribute to setting design strategy, supervise junior staff, and review documentation to ensure high standards are maintained.

The role involves attending meetings, liaising with clients and contractors, and leading small project teams. You’ll undertake feasibility studies, site inspections, surveys, and prepare load calculations and utility applications.

You’ll produce detailed designs, review technical submissions, and ensure compliance with industry design guides, British Standards, and Building Regulations across all project stages.

Role Requirements

  • Full, valid driving licence
  • Professional membership (desirable but not essential)
  • Degree or HNC/D in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualification
  • Confident using computers and digital tools
  • Skilled in relevant industry design software
